Queen Update
TiredI'm not done with the Queen of Hearts story yet, at all. However, I really need to do a lot more research and reread the books before I can feel confident about writing anything else, so it's pretty much put on suspension for now. But there should be more photography and poems for those of you who follow my other work, so stay tuned!

Red roses inspire no hate in me. I even feel a sort of kinship with the little things. They’re just like death, so dark and multifaceted. Each layer grows darker as it reaches the center, til the petals are the exact shade of blood. They’re like blooming death, bringing a shocking contrast to this dull little world of ours. Then, like all things, they themselves die. It starts at the very edges of the outermost petals, a dull black tinting the once red blood. Slowly, so slowly, it creeps into the center.
